HMT Four Guide-way CNC Lathe is a heavy duty special type of flat bed lathe. It consists of one wide bed with two pairs of guide ways, head stock, tail stock, steady rest, cross slide with tool turret. Headstock is fitted on bed, leaving free the carriage guide ways and is driven by AC spindle motor. Tailstock and steady rests are placed on the pair of guide ways at the rear side. Other pair of guide ways in the front side are for cross slide movement. The guide ways of carriage and tailstock are completely independent without any interference between carriage and tail stock/ steady rests.
